  -It has been almost half a dozen years since the last Wet Pizza (WP IV "Wet Dreams") was released. Much has happened in these years, and so there is a genuine disconnect of what WP was and now IS. The biggest change, is flat out that all of the beautiful people I know in this industry have continued to master their craft. This edition is by far the most impressive collection I have put together since the wee days of "Slippery When Wet". What is included here in this compilation is truly some of Denver/Colorado's best EEDM (Experimental Electronic Dance Music, as I call it.) and genuine contemporary Rock N' Roll in its various forms/sub-genres. Its true that not every band on here is currently residing in Colorado, but the majority of them ARE, and those who aren't have strong ties to Denver.
  -Since it has been a while since I have gone through this process I managed to forget about how difficult it can be. So to absolutely everyone who has participated in this endeavour I thank you from way deep inside me. No man is an island. So again thank you all for making this happen.
  -Of course like everything in life, there are the good parts, and the not so fun stuff. The biggest lesson remembered: you can't make everyone happy. I have tried to do my best to be as inclusive as possible (so that not only my single tastes are represented here.) but to also balance that inclusiveness with quality control. To be totally honest, if you don't like what I do or, how I do it, make your own fucking comp. Rather than only being a hater who is also a trog. The truth is I received far more submissions than I ever was expecting, and I'm also not the most organized human being on this planet. If you didn't make it on, nothing personal.
  -Beyond any hard feelings, I believe this is a very accurate portrait of what's going on in Denver in the genres these music represent right here and now (or at least in 2014). This is our community, this is our folk art. Apparently we roll hella deep. I am extremely proud to present to you: Wet Pizza V (Wet It Be) A Mystic Bummer Mix Tape.
  -Lots of hard work went into the creation of every single one of these songs, let alone the work of putting it all together. We are talking about thousands of hours of work that this compilation is comprised of. If you feel so inclined, please do donate anything you want to, as donations are the only payment to be seen.
